Aromatherapy Treatment can help
Aromatherapy is suitable for everyone, regardless of age or gender - from babies to people in their nineties. Both males and females can equally benefit from an aromatherapy treatment. Aromatherapy is ideal as a preventative treatment as it improves circulation, helps clear the body of toxins and increases the body's own potential to fight off infection. It is particularly helpful for those suffering from stress.

Aromatherapy treatment is used for the treatment of pain, skin care, and alleviation of tension and fatigue and to invigorate the entire body.

Aromatherapy treatments is also effective in dealing with minor ailments, skin problems and in particular stress or emotional difficulties. Aromatherapy is a valuable preventative therapy, which keeps clients well, balanced emotionally and physically, reducing the chances of a serious illness occurring.

Each treatment given is unique, tailored to the specific needs of the person at that time.

Essential oils are applied during the aromatherapy treatment and can affect the mood, alleviate fatigue, reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.

Before any action is taken, the physiotherapist will assess your condition, diagnose the problem and help you to understand what is wrong. They will work with you to develop an effective treatment plan that takes into account your lifestyle, leisure activities and general health. This will include advice on how you can help yourself, for example, you may be shown exercises that you can do between treatment sessions.

Most of the Aromatherapy oils we use have antiseptic properties; some are antiviral, anti-inflammatory, pain relieving, antidepressant and expectorant.

Other properties of the essential oils used, which we take advantage of in your aromatherapy treatment, are their stimulation, relaxation, digestion improvement, and diuretic properties.
